This website is for the millions of people who relish the thought of financial freedom. It provides the keys to creating a debt free lifestyle that can improve the finances of anyone who takes the time to apply the information learned.
We do not pretend to have all the answers. Nor is this blog a memoir. Although we have included stories related to our life experiences, we rely on data, research, personal observations and lessons learned along the way. We are writing this for anyone who wants to increase their chances of realizing financial freedom thru the process of being debt free. This includes men and women in all stages of their lives and careers, from those just starting out to those who are in between jobs. Although we believe that everyone can achieve financial freedom when you take control of your money rather than your money controlling you. We don’t believe there is only one way to achieve this freedom.
Message from founder:
As founder, I am mindful of the fact that we all do not want the same things in life. I am hopeful that this website will serve millions and guide those who choose financial freedom but need assistance along the way. If this is something you wish you could do, but you feel is too far out of reach, this is for you!
Lynn Demmons, speaker, author, mentor, consultant, and financial rebound coach, partners with women and businesses helping each discover the purpose, priorities, and motivation to achieve generational wealth. Her simple yet practical, effective systems empower clients to grow and focus on outcomes not incomes. As a result, her clients achieve the best financial life for their purposes. Lynn’s philosophy is “Be generous with what you have- no matter how big or small; results will follow.”
One single force can change anything in your life and that is the power of choice. As a financial educator, Lynn’s mission is to empower people in making the choice to take control of their finances.
Those choices should not begin in adulthood. They are learned processes which should originate early in life. As Senior Director for K-12 Services of the College Board, Lynn incorporates empowerment in her advocacy for all students. By cultivating strategic alliances with state and district partners, the former classroom teacher, administrator and South Carolinian finds gratification in providing services to support equity, access and excellence for all. Her goal is sole and simple – to ensure all students have the tools necessary to enter and graduate from college with as little debt as possible. Demmons strives to provide them options, returning the focus to the single force of choices.
As populations of the United States and the south continue to change, educational achievement is not keeping pace. Many young men of color are not achieving at the rate of other groups. In comparison minority females are graduating high school and college at a higher rate than minority males. This wasted talent imposes economic and emotional costs on minority students themselves and on society as a whole. (Gonzales, 2010)
Lynn is working to change the phenomenon that Gonzales spotlighted in 2010. She does it through comprehensive educational services designed to increase scholastic and career opportunities for everyone. With students and adults alike, her emphasis is on financial wellness. She offers professional development training for individuals, parents, school, and district leaders. Lynn focuses on fiscal best practices which are based on research, trends and issues affecting the economic stability of today’s society.
